Ran across a good article about acclimatizing to training in summer heat, which can be brutal here in Houston.
- Getting used to training in the heat takes regular training for about 2 weeks
- Sweat, cardio, and exercise performance improves as acclimatization occurs
- Adaptation to the heat is lost at about twice the rate as it's acquired. The first to go? Cardio.
