I'm a mid-40s marathoner that trains for 3-4 significant races a year just to keep the pounds off and keep the competitive juices pumping. For my last few training cycles my calf muscles have been unusually sore. My sports therapy doc recommended liberal amounts of Traumeel to take away some of the swelling/pain.
Anyone have any positive or negative experiences with Traumeel? I've used it for about a week now and the soreness has subsided but can't be 100% sure if it's from Traumeel or some other treatments I'm on.

I love Traumeel! It's a natural anti-inflammatory gel or ointment. I've used it for years. I am also a runner and have typical runner's aches and pains. Give it a try! It's kind of pricey. I've always found it at Whole Foods.
