Multi-vitamin recommendation?

Postby james87 » Wed May 04, 2016 12:11 pm

I'm a 45 year old male and recently received a recommendation from my local health food store for Bluebonnet MultiOne (iron free).

Is anyone familiar with Bluebonnet? Is iron-free the right choice for me?

I've been taking Bluebonnet's multi for years and love it. They also make a Maxi version (not sure of the difference, but probably more of individual vitamins and minerals).

I've been told that males should take the iron-free version btw.

I just wanted to chime in on the iron vs iron-free for a multi vitamin. Yes, men should take iron-free multi vitamins unless their doctors tells them otherwise. As a general rule, women should take the multi vitamins with iron if they still have a monthly menstrual cycle.
